In short: This site is EFBA's corporate information and communication channel. No sales are made through the site; product and molecule content is for information only and does not constitute medical advice. Requests submitted through the forms do not create a binding contract; a commercial relationship arises only upon separate mutual agreement.

1. Acceptance of the terms

By visiting efbailac.com and its subpages (together, the "Site"), completing forms on the Site, or contacting us through EFBA's digital channels, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms of Use. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Site.

If you are acting on behalf of a legal entity, you represent that you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf.

2. Site operator and intended audience

The Site is operated by EFBA (Expert Formulations for Bespoke Applications). Contact address: info@efbailac.com.

The content is intended for professional audiences such as healthcare professionals, clinics, pharmacies, distributors and corporate partners. The Site is not directed at persons under the age of 18 and does not sell products directly to consumers.

3. Medical and scientific disclaimer

The Knowledge Base, product pages and other scientific content on the Site are provided for general information based on published literature.

  • This content is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment recommendation and does not replace the judgement of a physician or pharmacist.
  • Any decision regarding the use of a product must be made solely by a qualified healthcare professional, within the framework of applicable regulations.
  • No statement on the Site may be construed as a claim to prevent, diagnose, treat or cure any disease.
  • Scientific references reflect the state of knowledge at the time of publication; the literature may change over time. No warranty is given as to currency.

In a medical emergency, contact a healthcare facility without delay.

4. Product information and quotes

  • Product presentations on the Site do not constitute an offer for sale; availability, technical specifications and commercial terms may change without prior notice.
  • A request submitted through the quote form creates no binding obligation for EFBA. EFBA reserves the right to evaluate, partially fulfil or decline the request.
  • Submitting a distributorship application does not grant distributorship rights. A distributorship relationship arises only under a separate agreement signed by the parties.
  • Marketing authorisation, registration and promotion requirements for products differ between countries; no warranty is given that the content is applicable in your country.

5. Permitted use

You may view and reasonably quote the Site content for personal or internal business use, for the following purposes only:

  • obtaining information about EFBA and its services,
  • evaluating commercial cooperation, distributorship or quote processes,
  • applying for open positions.

Where content is quoted, EFBA and the relevant page must be cited as the source.

6. Prohibited use

When using the Site, you agree not to:

  • attempt to circumvent security measures, gain unauthorised access or damage the infrastructure,
  • overload the service with automated tools (bots, scrapers, bulk requests) or submit bulk requests to the form endpoints,
  • enter false, misleading or third-party information into the forms,
  • reproduce, republish or create and distribute derivative content from the Site for commercial purposes without EFBA's written permission,
  • alter statements about products and content in a way that creates a health claim or promotion contrary to applicable regulations,
  • upload malicious software or send harmful files,
  • engage in any act contrary to applicable law or to the rights of third parties.

Where EFBA identifies use contrary to these rules, it reserves the right to restrict access technically and to pursue legal remedies.

7. Form submissions and user content

  • You are responsible for ensuring that the information you submit through the forms is accurate, current and complete.
  • You represent that you are authorised to share any documents you upload.
  • We use the content you submit solely to evaluate your request and to contact you; the processing principles are explained in our Privacy Policy.
  • Please do not send confidential information, trade secrets or special categories of personal data that are not requested in the forms.
  • Form submissions are subject to rate limiting and automated-submission controls to prevent abuse.

8. Intellectual property

The texts, Knowledge Base content, images, videos, logo and brand elements, design, source code and arrangement on the Site belong to EFBA or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law.

"EFBA" and the associated logo are trademarks of EFBA. Except as expressly permitted in these terms, copying, distributing, modifying, reverse engineering or commercially exploiting the content requires EFBA's prior written permission.

Rights in third-party trademarks and content belong to their respective owners.

9. Third-party links and social media

The Site may link to scientific sources or third-party services. Such links are provided for convenience only; EFBA is not responsible for the content, security or privacy practices of those sites.

Content published on EFBA's social media accounts (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and similar) is also subject to these Terms of Use and to the rules of the relevant platform. Where a platform's terms of service conflict with these terms, the platform's rules govern use on that platform.

10. Availability and changes

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". EFBA reserves the right to change, suspend or discontinue the Site, its content or its functions without prior notice. Interruptions may occur due to maintenance, updates, infrastructure failure or force majeure; uninterrupted and error-free access is not guaranteed.

These Terms of Use may also be updated. The current version is published at this address and the date at the top of the page is refreshed. Continuing to use the Site after changes means you accept the updated terms.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • EFBA gives no express or implied warranty that the Site content will be uninterrupted, error-free, current or fit for a particular purpose.
  • EFBA cannot be held liable for decisions taken in reliance on the Site content or for their consequences.
  • EFBA is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, loss of data or business interruption.
  • Force majeure events (natural disaster, epidemic, cyber attack, infrastructure and communication outages, decisions of public authorities and similar) exclude liability.

This section does not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence, or to liabilities that cannot be limited by law.

12. Protection of personal data

The purposes for which your personal data is processed, how long it is kept and how you can exercise your rights are explained in detail in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms of Use.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of the Republic of Türkiye have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms. The right of persons qualifying as consumers to apply to the consumer arbitration committees and courts at their place of residence is reserved.

If any provision of these terms is held invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected.
